Dita has always been fitness minded person who played different sports growing up and still is an avid skier, who finds every opportunity to get on the slopes. Her understanding of Pilates has been very reassuring of that pain and physical discomfort does not have to be part of an active lifestyle.
Dita believes in customized and individual approach to each client that she teaches, considering each person’s health, lifestyle, and fitness level. She continuously seeks more education by attending Pilates workshops and participating in conferences, as she believes that a good instructor is forever a student of Joseph Pilates amazing work.
Lisa Miranda is certified in Pilates, Hatha Yoga RYT 200, and is a level III Reiki practitioner. Inspired by Pilates & Yoga in 1997 after a back injury, Pilates helped to strengthen her body, mind and spirit-.
Lisa became certified in Pilates in 2000 and enjoys sharing her knowledge, passion & enthusiasm of Pilates with others to help meet their goals. She continues her education and studies and has taken workshops in Rehabilitation, Gait Analysis and the Study of Biomechanics through PhysicalMind Institute and at other studios.
Also an artist, Lisa studied painting & drawing, performance & movement at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is currently working on “Lotus Flowers a Series of paintings” - creating harmony and balance in her art, her work, and her life.
