Mike George has been in the fitness field for over 15 years and is Karina’s associate at Studio E. Mike trains and leads a team of innovative and highly experienced trainers and will find a trainer that’s right for you.
How would you define MGFS?
Great team of individual trainers that have a passion for helping people be the best they can.

What’s the difference between you and other trainers?
All of us are highly experienced, full time trainers that have a passion for helping people in a scientific and saf e way. While we all abide by the same scientific guidelines, each of us are able to use our own life experiences and personalities to fine tune the sessions we provide for our clients.
Why would I join MGFS and not a regular gym?
In a regular gym you're on your own and even if you exercise with the correct form, the balance of exercises may cause an imbalance or worsen your posture, cause an injury or simply veer you of course of your goal. You go to an attorney for important legal matters- you should go to a qualified trainer for matters involving your wellness.

How would you define MGFS?
MGFS is a systematic approach to health and wellness. MGFS trainers instruct and motivate clients in a supportive setting.
Explain your fitness philosophy.
Bodies are designed to move. Exercise programs must be functional and address activities of daily living while also improving enthusiasm for living life to the fullest.
What is your personal style?
Good trainers are fully present and engaged in the workout experience. We know how to set in motion the possibility for careful, sustainable progress toward a client's goal. The best in the field are able to respond and adapt, modify a program, and even stop a session when necessary. Never coast.

How would you define MGFS?
MGFS is a results driven system of overall health and vitality improvement. It is implemented and supported by a team of qualified professionals that provide safe, progressive fitness training and nutritional counseling to help clients achieve their goals for improving their health and quality of life.
Explain your fitness philosophy.
Balance is a key word when it comes to fitness and in general health and well-being. Helping to bring balance into all aspects of a client’s life is a key focus of my training style. Fitness goals are highly personal and can evolve over time. Constantly listening and being aware of a client’s desires and balancing those with careful assessment of postural and movement needs allow me to develop a progressive training program that helps bring the client closer toward their own personal fitness goals and evolving state of “being their very best” physically. Getting out of our heads and the day to day stresses that can fill them and taking time to bring our awareness back to “being in the body “ is a wonderful way to practice balancing our busy lives and hopefully come to the realization that “being in the body” is actually an inherently joyful experience, ...as it should be.
What’s the difference between you and other trainers?
I enjoy developing progressive exercise programs for clients that address and move the body as a whole. With a background in wellness and many bodywork modalities I like to focus on synergistic movements that balance western cutting edge training with eastern holistic oriented movement and philosophy. Many years of Tai Chi and martial arts practice have allowed me to become more attuned to how a client may be experiencing a particular exercise and how I can adjust their movement to improve their awareness of their body as they exercise and move.
Looking back on my own challenging spinal problems as a teenager I bring experience and resources for motivation for all my clients, young or old, especially to those over 50 who think they have to slow down or decrease weightlifting resistance as they age.
Is a client a client for life?
Not necessarily for life but I feel I’m always a partner in helping a client achieve their evolving fitness goals in a reasonable time frame.

How would you define MGFS?
MGFS is a team of highly qualified fitness enthusiasts who are committed to improving the quality of life for every client.
Explain your fitness philosophy.
I truly believe that fitness is an integral part of living a long and happy life. As a personal trainer, it's my goal to make exercising fun, exciting and challenging. My passion stemmed from watching my clients reach their goals through hard work and dedication, thereby improving the quality of their life. There is no way to live as a healthy person without physical activity, as Albert Einstein said "nothing happens until something starts moving."
What's the difference between you and other trainers?
I will never be a trainer who just counts reps. I am there to coach, teach, motivate and lead. I do not ask anyone to do things that I am not willing to do myself and I am not afraid to push my clients in order to bring out their best.
